FAQ, Policies, & Good Faith Estimate

What is offered is individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy. The approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

The cost per session varies. Insurance is accepted (i.e., United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, Medicare, BCBS, and more!).


Yes, confidentiality is a priority. However, there are legal and ethical exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.


Please notify  24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.


Deciding to pursue therapy is a personal choice. If you're facing challenges, feeling overwhelmed, or seeking personal growth, therapy can be a valuable resource. Your concerns can be discussed in an initial consultation to determine if therapy is a good fit for you.

All therapy sessions are scheduled based on the agreed-upon time and frequency between you and your therapist.


Sessions typically last 50 minutes unless otherwise specified.

All sessions are confidential, in line with the legal and ethical guidelines for therapy practices.


Information shared in therapy is protected, and we will never disclose any personal information without your consent, except when legally required or if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

No-Show and Late Cancellation Fee

We maintain clear professional boundaries in our relationship, and all therapy sessions are conducted in a professional and respectful manner.


Any behavior that violates professional boundaries may result in the termination of therapy.

Late Cancellations: If you need to cancel your session, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled session will incur a fee of $100.


No-Show: If you do not show up for your session without prior notification, a $100 fee will also be charged.


Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a session, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid cancellation fees.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.


We accept payment via credit card, debit card, cash or Zelle /Venmo.


We do accept insurance, please contact us to verify if we are covered under your plan.


Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to provide clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services. You have the right to receive a written estimate of the anticipated cost of your mental health care before services are provided.


If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charges. For more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, please contact Empowerment Solutions Therapy or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
