Samantha is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Doctoral Student in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of the Cumberlands, and the founder of Empowerment Solutions Therapy, LLC. She approaches therapy through a collaborative, client-centered lens, believing that meaningful and lasting change happens when clients feel supported, understood, and actively involved in their own growth. Samantha is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where individuals of all ages can explore challenges, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. Her therapeutic style blends compassion, authenticity, and a touch of humor to foster genuine connection and comfort in the therapy room.
Through her advanced doctoral training, education, and clinical experience, Samantha has developed a strong foundation in evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-informed care, and multicultural counseling. She is also an EMDR Therapist in Training through EMDRIA, expanding her ability to support trauma processing and recovery. Samantha works with individuals navigating life transitions, ADHD, trauma, and neurodiversity, including those on the autism spectrum, among a wide range of mental health concerns.
Originally from New Jersey, Samantha relocated to Florida to pursue her academic and professional training. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lynn University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Crisis and Trauma Therapy, from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She completed her practicum and internship at the Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, where she provided therapy to clients across the lifespan and facilitated several therapeutic groups, including Social Skills for Children, DBT, Anger Management, and Divorce and Separation Support. She also contributed to the Senior Outreach Support (SOS) Program, offering emotional support and wellness interventions to older adults.
Through her doctoral scholarship, clinical leadership, and diverse experiences, Samantha remains deeply committed to helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they work toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
